The house in Remuera was a new build on a very steep site. The earthworks included a huge amount of cutting of the site and stabilising in preparation for the build. Ryan and his team built the architecturally designed house and later on completed all of the landscaping, including the pool. The pool was built above a watermain and therefore had to be cantilevered over the main. Ryan’s team worked with the engineer to complete the pool with this unique design. The landscaping of the steep site required a lot of retaining to create the required design.
