The Build Process

Planning and Consultant Engagement

Get in touch now. We can chat over the phone or meet in person, whichever you prefer and have time for. From here we can figure out what stage your plan is at and advise you on whether or not you will need to engage consultants, and if so which ones to engage. We can provide recommendations of consultants that we have worked with before and meet our high standard or service.

Obtain Consent

Once the required consultants have provided the planning and drawings required, you have your concept and the architect will lodge this to Council to obtain the required Consents. There may be some tweaks required at this stage.

Budgeting and Programming

You may be at this stage when you contact us and have ticked off the steps prior. Let’s talk business!

Once Council has issued Consent and the plan details are finalized, we can provide a quote to you, and discuss the ideal time for you to start your project and how long it is likely to take. This is also a good time to nut-out any intricate details or little extra requests, and we can provide you with tips based on our experience and knowledge.

At the end of all the nutting-out, and once everyone is happy, it is time to sign a Contract and have all of the details clarified and on paper.

Construction

During construction you will have a programme provided to suit you. This will show the monthly milestones for the duration of the project and can have values against each of these so you know how your budget is allocated and what will be invoiced at each agreed invoicing period.

We will communicate with you at least once a week to talk about progress, and any changes or further requests. We are available at all times if you need to discuss anything.

Completion

We will finish your project to the highest standard and complete all required documentation, leaving you with nothing left to do but enjoy the finished product.

We will work with the consultants and any subcontractors to obtain the necessary sign-off’s so that you can rest assured that all conditions have been met.
